The day before Easter, Andrew and Aiden were very excited to get a package delivered from Granny and Papa for Easter. They had a box full of goodies. Thanks, Granny and Papa!!!
Here is Andrew playing with one of his favorite things from the package.....BUBBLE WRAP!!
Here we are dying a few eggs. We managed to get through this project without any major incidents or catastrophes!!
For Easter, Andrew received a few things in his basket, but this by far, was his FAVORITE -- A gas can to go with his lawn mower and weed eater. Not the most conventional of gifts...but our little guy LOVES anything related to yard work! This is his newest prize possession.
(This year, at least!!)
Easter Sunday morning we had wonderful Resurrection Day service at church. Phillip reminded us all that while it is great to celebrate on this special day, the power of the resurrection should infiltrate our lives every day. Easter should not be something we celebrate just once a year, but Christ's sacrifice for sinners such as I and his resurrection and victory over death should be lived out in our daily lives. Thank you, LORD!!
