Whatever happened to that rat I posted about???
Remember him:
He kept creeping in from the field behind our house eating our plants in the flower bed.
Well, we tried a trap......that didn't work.....
We tried poison....that didn't work..........
Desperate times call for desperate measures:
Even that didn't work.......
Finally, Phillip decided to line the fence with sticky traps....and guess what....it worked!
Well, that and a little help from nature:
(Sorry for the gross pic....but my boys - all three of them - think it is so cool!)
Imagine Phillip's surprise, when he went out the next morning after putting down the sticky traps to see this....apparently the rat, in fact, got on the trap...along with a huge snake that was eating the rate.
GROSS!
Phillip told me, "Amanda, you knew there were snakes back there." NO, I did not KNOW there were snakes back there. Suspected, yes, but did not KNOW!
Now just what will we do for entertainment around here now that the rat is gone???
Guess we will just have to watch this little guy who started showing up:
It's just a regular Discovery channel around here!
