Well, it has been a while since my last blog entry, and I am sorry. Several of you, especially those of you who fall into the grandparent category, have mentioned that you wish I would update the blog. I promise I will do better!! I am going to attempt to get you caught up on what has been going on with the Dancys over the past few weeks and share some of my favorite pics that we have taken.
So, here we go.......
Here are some pics of Andrew getting his haircut. We have come a long way from those first few haircuts. Andrew was PERFECT during his very first haircut on his first birthday - the star of the show. The following haircuts were challenging to say the least. He even caused one hairdresser to cut her finger with the clippers. Thankfully, he actually likes to get his haircut now. He likes to go see "Mrs. Robyn" and talk to her about the latest happenings in his little world.
Below is a picture of his haircut "tradition." In order to calm him down, the first few times Robyn cut his hair, she let him squirt the water bottle - at the mirror, at her, at other customers! Now, he thinks he still has to squirt it before he leaves! Silly little guy!
Aiden continues to grow like a little weed. We are having fun with solid foods now. Here are some of my favorite pictures of him with his baby food.
Cereal.
With a little fruit - PEARS!!! Yum!
And carrots.....
So far he has had oatmeal cereal, rice cereal, pears, carrots, squash and sweet potatoes. He seems to like them all.
We have been spending a lot of family time together over the past couple of weeks. One Saturday night we had movie night. The movie of choice was 101 Dalmatians.
Andrew loved it! He did, however, point out that Cruella Deville "forgot to fix her hair. It looks silly!"

Andrew and Mommy
When the dalmatians sent out the "all dog alert" and began barking nonstop, Grady rose to attention!

I guess you could say a good time was had by all, even the dog!
Phillip continues to be committed to his running. He plans on running in this year's St. Jude Half-Marathon. Andrew is usually still asleep when Phillip runs in the morning during the week. However, this Saturday, Phillip ran a little later than usual and decided to take Andrew with him. Andrew enjoyed his "run" via the stroller. Phillip said he did not take into account the extra thirty pounds and not being able to move his arms in his running stride since he was pushing the stroller. Needless to say, Daddy got an excellent workout that day!!
On your mark, get set, go....!
Here they are getting some water after their run. I guess all that "running" made Andrew thirsty!
Andrew is also excited that it is spring....and mowing season has started!!! He has had the best time helping Phillip in the yard. He remains FASCINATED by any type of yard equipment and relishes the days that we work in the yard. Oh, how we hope this will continue into his teenage years!!!
Andrew wants to be just like Daddy with his weed eater.
Nona and Gumpa came one weekend to see us. The boys had a great time playing with them. Andrew particularly enjoyed the Wal-Mart run he and Gumpa made to get batteries for his Geo Trax Train Set. Somehow several packages of M&M's and Skittles also mysteriously appeared in the bag.
Here are Aiden and Andrew with Gumpa.

We had a great visit!
