Believe it or not, we were actually able to leave for the beach pretty much on time...not bad for three adults, one three year old, a seven month old and a dog! (That's right, Grady got to go to the beach, too.)
Both of the kids were EXCELLENT on the ride down there. Andrew was so excited to see the "big water" that he hardly played with any of his toys that I had packed for him. He was very content to look out the window...and eat SNACKS, of course!

This is Christina....a precious, sweet girl - beautiful inside and out - who was one of our youth when Phillip was doing youth and is now in college. We were so excited to have her go with us to the beach this year. We so enjoyed getting to spend some time catching up with her and she was such a blessing to help us with the kids. Oh, and did I mention that she is one of Andrew's most favorite people ever?? He was absolutely THRILLED when he found she was going with us.
Oh, and for those of you who have not heard or seen yet, Phillip did decide to shave his head. What a sight...six in the morning, out in the backyard, I was shaving his head. Andrew woke up and said, "What happened to your hair??" It was so funny!
