This weekend we made a quick trip up to Memphis to celebrate some birthdays. My dad's (Gumpa's) birthday is this upcoming week, the 27th, so we celebrated with him a little early. Andrew was very excited to make Gumpa some cupcakes and to eat them in celebration of his birthday.
Here is Gumpa with his two favorite little boys. Oh, and it was Andrew's idea to put a candle in the cupcake. He was very adamant that Gumpa must have a candle to blow out.
Andrew getting ready to eat his cupcake, or shall I say lick the icing off. He prefers the icing to the cake.
After eating cupcakes and opening presents, we all settled in to watch Andrew's new favorite move: Charlotte's Web.
The boys enjoying some snuggle time with Nona while watching the movie.

The next day we went over to my aunt's house to celebrate birthdays with family and friends. We celebrated all the birthdays from the beginning of the year until now, except for the kids - we always celebrate theirs separately. Basically, it was everybody's birthday except mine!
Here are Andrew and Tayler trying on her wigs from all of her princess costumes. Checkout Andrew's hair! He thought this was hilarious!

Even though we always celebrate the kids birthdays separately, there just happened to be a few "happies" for them to open. Thanks, Aunt Christine, for the PAINT markers! Andrew can't wait to use these this week!

Aiden playing with his new fish toys.
(By the way, he was having a TERRIBLE hair day.)

We had planned to swim - this was before we knew that the weather was going to cool off. Andrew was SO excited about going swimming, so Dad took one for the team and braved the COLD water with him!

That little splash is Andrew...under the water! He had just jumped off the diving board. NO FEAR!
