Andrew LOVES going to our local library. Even though we live in a small town, we have an awesome library that has some great programs for the kids. Last week we signed him up for the Summer Reading Program. He is very excited because for each book you read, you get to decorate a paper guitar with your name on it displayed at the library and each time you come in to return books, you get to pick a prize out of the prize chest. Today he returned six books that we read last week and checked out six more.
Today was the first of the programs planned for the summer. This morning we heard a story teller read books, sing songs and put on a puppet show for the preschoolers. This afternoon we went back for the magic show for kids of all ages. He LOVED this morning's program, but said the magic show "was a little silly!"
Here is a picture of him learning the motions to one of the songs.
Aiden had a great time as well! He especially loved the music and was mesmerized by the puppets!
Andrew especially liked the ice cream at the end! YUM!
